In November we were excited to hear from last season’s Snow Bum, Thiago from Brazil, with the good news that he would be making a trip back to Sun Peaks Resort with his girlfriend for the holiday season! He had recently got a new video camera and was dying to try it out at Sun Peaks, and since he truly thinks of Sun Peaks as his “home” mountain we couldn’t wait for him to get out there and start shooting again!
Since Thiago’s departure from Sun Peaks in April 2010 after spending three fun filled months exploring the terrain, making new friends, and really just being a Snow Bum, we had kept in touch and he continued representing Sun Peaks in Brazil, promoting our amazing resort to travel agents throughout his country. This showed us his true passion for Sun Peaks and we’re lucky to have him as part of our ambassadorial team.
We hope you had a chance to catch up with Thiago while he was here, not hard to miss since he was sporting his bright yellow pants from last season! Thank you to Nancy Greene for joining up with Thiago during one of her complimentary guest mountain tours, and to everyone else in the resort for their support in accommodating Thiago during his stay.
